Nokia has announced a device, Nokia Mobile TV Headset, DVB-H, that converts your mobile phone into a portable television. Anywhere there’s mobile DVB-H (Digital Video Broadband – Handset) coverage, you can tune into sports events or TV shows and watch them without worrying about an Internet connection.

The Nokia Mobile TV Headset acts as a TV receiver for your mobile device. The device works using Digital Video Broadcasting - Handheld (DVB-H) signals and is compatible with the upcoming Nokia N8 and other Symbian^3 devices with USB-on-the-go feature. The headset comes with buttons to switch channels and volume controls. It is also able to handle call-related functions available in regular mobile phone headsets.
